 One person that stood out to me was cory because he was a regular teen. But his dad stopped him doing from the things he loved which is a common theme in  a lot of books/tv shows.  But also he was the one with the most sense and determation. Beacuse he wanted to be better than his dad troy and become a football player but when that was taken away from him he joined the army. That in my eyes was the person who stood out to me.

We finshed the book.

I learned that cory joined the army and that troy died.
